Don’t get me wrong, I like Boston! I lived there for a little while.
But I swear to god, this conversation seems to happen every 3-6 months in Hollywood now:
Producer #1: So I got this script here, and it’s pretty good! Not great.
Producer #2: What’s it about?
Producer #1: Crime! And sad people. So sad, these people.
Producer #2: Let’s set it in Boston!
Producer #1: YES. Is Matt Damon Busy?
Producer #2: Yeah.
Producer #1: GET ME AN AFFLECK!
